September is here and the final harvests are under way.
In August I had my last Urban Homestead Exchange volunteer for the year, a man named Nicholas, an american ex-military officer turned student of ecological systems. He decided to take a working vacation in Montreal, working with me on gardening projects, and learning how to do DIY accessible gardening projects. Nicholas helped out on a variety of projects, such as Vermicomposting, planting and harvesting, weeding and watering, and microgreens and sprouts growing. Check out some photos from the most robust season in the garden!
