My favourite vegetarian friendly restaurants include Aux Vivres (best vegan restaurant in town), Cafe Seraphim (organic gourmet dining in Old Port), ONoir (dining in the dark!) and Yuan (every type of veggie protein you can imagine.) $10-$40
4. Mini Road Trip
Within an hour of Montreal by car or bus you can reach amazing hiking spots, clean water spots for swimming, nordic outdoors spas, outdoor sport adventures and great camping. $5-$?
5. Wonders of Nature
Visit spots such as the Botanical Gardens, the Planetarium, The SAT for a video show (Society of Arts and Technology), The Concordia Greenhouse (September-April) or the other nature spots around the island of Montreal. $0 - $30
6. Bike Adventure!
Bike the Lachine Canal, check out one of Montreal`s many bike routes, old Montreal, cross the bridge to the island of Jean Drapeau, or bike to one of the epic nature reserves on the edges of the island. Bring a picnic, lots of water and some spliffs! $0

This swanky gamers bar offers mini golf, bowling, pool and air hockey with a bar and restaurant in the middle. Located right downtown. $10-$50

From Roller Derby to the Jazz festival, from Nuit Blanche to Pride, there is almost always a festival or special event happening in Montreal. Check this blog for weekly events listings, or the local newspapers. $0-$40
